SCHEDULE (password required)
RULES/CONDITIONS:
1. Must reside within Nuu-chah-nulth territory (Ucluelet, Tofino, Port Alberni and all points in between)
2. Solo artist (bands or duos full fee for each member)
3. Must have an original song idea (partially written or near completion)
4. Must commit to the full length of the program taking place at the Ukee Sound studio in Ucluelet
5. If 18 years or under, must have parent or guardian permission
6. Chosen applicants will be notified by email of the success of their application no later than March 31, 2025
7. Permit the usage of your name, likeness, images and sound recordings for promotional purposes
8. 50% of the investment ($125) is due upon notification of a successful application. Remainder is due on the first day of workshops
Making Waves LIVE!
We are back for another season of open mic for songwriters! Host Brent Halfyard, invites local and visiting artists to the stage at Ukee Poke to perform up to 15 minutes of original material. It starts Friday, March 28th at 6:30 pm and continues every last Friday of the month until September 26th, 2025. We hope to see you there! PA and instruments available. First come first serve, signup with Brent to perform.
